ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING PART OF
BOWIE STREET BETWEEN AVENUE C, KANSAS CITY
SOUTHERN RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY AND BLOCKS 51
AND 60, VAN WORMER ADDITION AND THE 20'
ALLEYWAY IN BLOCK 51,VAN WORMER ADDITION IN THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT part of Bowie Street between Avenue C, Kansas City Southern Railroad right-of-way
and Blocks 51 and 60, Van Wormer Addition and the 20' alleyway in Block 51, Van
Wormer Addition as shown on Exhibits"A," and "B" attached hereto, be and the same are
hereby vacated and abandoned, subject to the retention of an easement or moving any
utilities at the applicant's expense.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 25th day of
January, 2005.
