BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the purchase of one (1) Caterpillar Model 725
articulated dump truck for the Public Works Department, Solid Waste Landfill Division, in
the amount of $285,994 from Mustang Tractor and Equipment Company, Beaumont,
Texas, through the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Buyboard cooperative
purchasing program. The Purchase Program satisfies the State law requiring competitive
bids.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 11th day of
January, 2005.
