WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont has no objection to the disposal of surplus
property, being a .389 acre parcel of property described as 300 Block of Buford Street, City
Plat Q, Tract 1, D. Brown Survey; and,
WHEREAS, the land is no longer needed for the use of citizens as a road, nor does
it have a potential for park, conservation, recreation or similar purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont wishes to sell the above property as shown;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a Special Warranty
Deed for the sale of above-described to Jerry Lane in the amount of$2,200.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 17th day of
September, 2002.
