WHEREAS, bid notifications were provided to three (3) vendors for the purchase
of one (1) diesel powered winch for use by the Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, TT Technologies, Inc., Aurora, Illinois, submitted a bid in the amount
of$29,500 with additional rental fees of$14,750 for a total amount of$44,250; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by TT
Technologies, Inc., Aurora, Illinois, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by TT Technologies, Inc., Aurora, Illinois, for the purchase of one
(1) used 2001 RW20 Grundowinch 20 ton diesel powered winch in the amount of$44,250
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 17th day of
September, 2002.
