BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council of the City of Beaumont hereby approves the award of a contract
to SBC Communications for the purchase of a networked voice communication system
which includes a one(1)yearwarranty and an additional five(5)year maintenance contract
for a total cost of $344,560.40. The contract will provide new phone equipment and
service for City Hall, Fire Headquarters,the Police Department and the Health Department.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 14th day of
December, 2004.
