WHEREAS, bidswere received foran annual contract for Security Guard and Event
Staff services for the Convention Facilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, Lofton Staffing and Security Services, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a
bid for an estimated annual cost of$94,164 in the unit prices shown below:

Guard Supervisor $16.00 / hour
Ticket Supervisor $13.60 / hour
Ticket Taker $12.00 / hour
Usher Supervisor $13.60 / hour

Door Guard $15.20 / hour

and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Loftin Staffing
and Security Services, Beaumont, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid for an estimated annual cost of $94,164 in the unit prices shown above
submitted by Loftin Staffing and Security Services, Beaumont, Texas for an annual
contract for Security Guard and Event Staff services for the Convention Facilities Division
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 17th day of
August, 2004.
