WHEREAS, Fidelity National Title Insurance Company has agreed to convey a
159.7' x 75.75' x 159.7' x 76.8' tract of land, being Tract 2, Block 4 in the Fuller Keith
Addition, located at 825 McFaddin Street, to the City of Beaumont for the construction of
a new Convention &Visitors Bureau Office Building, for the negotiated value of$5,000 as
described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purchase of said property and is
of the opinion that the purchase of said property is necessary and desirable and that same
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT said property purchased from Fidelity National Title Insurance Company be and the
same is hereby, in all things accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 16th day of
November, 2004.
