WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of an electronic handheld ticket
writer system for the Beaumont Police Traffic Division; and,
WHEREAS, Enforcement Technology, Irvine, California, submitted a bid in the
amount of$71,234 as shown below:
Handheld computer model proposed: AutoCITE 3 &4M
HARDWARE $47,200
including 10 handheld computers and docking stations:
SOFTWARE $18,000
with appropriate licenses:
Initial supply of 40,000 citation forms: $6,034
Installation and training: included
TOTAL: $71,234
; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Enforcement
Technology, Irvine, California, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Enforcement Technology, Irvine, California, for the purchase
of an electronic handheld ticket writer system for the Beaumont Police Traffic Division in
the amount of$71,234 as shown above be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 16th day of
