WHEREAS, bids were received for a six (6) month contract for the purchase of
water treatment chemicals for use by the Public Works Department, Water Utilities
Division; and,
WHEREAS, vendors submitted bids at the unit costs as shown below at an
estimated total contract expenditures of$103,384:

and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by the above
vendors should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by the above vendors for a six (6) month contract for the
purchase of water treatment chemicals for use by the Public Works Department, Water
Utilities Division, in the amounts shown above be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 26th day of
October, 2004.
