WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract to purchase asphalts, oils
and emulsions for the Public Works Department, Streets and Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, Prime Materials and Supply Corp., Houston, Texas, submitted a bid
in the unit prices shown below for an estimated total contract expenditure of$47,190.

and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Prime Materials
and Supply Corp., Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the unit amounts shown above for an estimated annual expenditure of
$47,190 submitted by Prime Materials and Supply Corp., Houston, Texas, for an annual
contractto purchase asphalts, oils and emulsionsforthe Public Works Department, Streets
and Drainage Division be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 21st day of
