WHEREAS, the lawsuit styled Sheila Savoy Broussard, et al v. The City of
Beaumont, was discussed in an Executive Session properly called and held Tuesday,
September 14, 2004; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit styled
Sheila Savoy Broussard, et al v. The City of Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle in the amount of
Fourteen-Thousand Two-Hundred Fifty($14,250)Dollars in the lawsuit styled Sheila Savo
Broussard, et al v. The City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 21st day of
September, 2004.
