WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract to provide Fire Department
uniforms; and,
WHEREAS, Lone Star Uniform, Houston, Texas, and Cotton Cargo, Beaumont,
Texas, submitted bids as follows:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by Lone Star
Uniform, Houston, Texas, and Cotton Cargo, Beaumont, Texas, as shown above for an
estimated total cost of$31,516.76 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by Lone Star Uniform, Houston, Texas, and Cotton Cargo,
Beaumont, Texas, at an estimated total cost of $31,516.76 for an annual contract to
provide Fire Department uniforms at the above stated prices be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 14th day of
September, 2004.
