WHEREAS, bids were received for providing a five (5) year financing agreement
with a fixed interest rate of 3.09% for the purchase of one (1) Pierce Lance 1,500 gallon
per minute (gpm) fire truck; and,
WHEREAS, Banc One Leasing Corporation submitted a bid for a five (5) year
financing agreement with a fixed interest rate of 3.09%; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Banc One
Leasing Corporation should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Banc One Leasing Corporation for a five (5) year financing
agreement with a fixed interest rate of 3.09% for the purchase of one (1) Pierce Lance
1,500 gallon per minute (gpm) fire truck be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the 24th day of
August, 2004. �
