BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the amendment requested by LightCore to their
contract approved by City Council on July 22, 2004 allowing the installation of fiber-optic
cable on Orleans and Broadway Streets. This installation totaled 3,017 linearfeet of cable.
LightCore is now requesting approval to install an additional 2,827 feet of fiber-optic cable
along Pearl, Calder and Willow Streets. LightCore will pay the City of Beaumont an
additional $2,335.50 initially and then an annual fee of $1.35 per linear foot on a total
footage of 5,844 feet or$7,889.40 annually.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the 24th day of
August, 2004.
