WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for container and solid waste
collections; and,
WHEREAS, Waste Management, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the
estimated monthly cost of$3,535.38 and an estimated annual cost of$42,424.56; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Waste
Management, Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted in the estimated monthly cost of $3,535.38 and an estimated
annual cost of$42,424.56 by Waste Management,Beaumont,Texas for an annual contract
for container and solid waste collections be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the 24th day
of August, 2004.
