BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT a City tax rate of$0.664 to support the City Manager's budget is hereby proposed
for consideration at a public hearing to be held Tuesday, August 31, 2004, at 7:00 o'clock
p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City of Beaumont, Texas.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that adoption of a proposed tax rate of$0.664 shall
be placed on an upcoming agenda for adoption.
PASSED BY THE RECORD VOTE OF THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of
Beaumont this the 17th day of August, 2004.
