ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A 600'
UNDEVELOPED PORTION OF BIRMINGHAM STREET BETWEEN
TAYLOR AND FILLMORE STREETS, BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON
COUNTY, TEXAS, SUBJECT TO THE ABANDONED RIGHT-OF-
WAY AS A DRAINAGE/UTILITY EASEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the 600' undeveloped portion of Birmingham Street between Taylor and Fillmore
Streets, a 60'x 300' portion of Birmingham Avenue between the south right-of-way line of
Taylor Street and the north right-of-way line of Wilson Street and a 60' x 300' portion of
Birmingham Avenue between the south right-of-way line of Wilson Street and the north
right-of-way line of Fillmore Street, City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, containing 0.82
acres, more or less, in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, as shown on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto, be and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned, subject to
maintaining the abandoned right-of-way as a drainage/utility easement.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 29th day of
June, 2004.
