WHEREAS, bids were received for a one (1) year contract for the purchase of water
treatment chemicals for use by the Public Works Department,Water Utilities Division;and,
WHEREAS, various vendors submitted unit costs with an estimated total annual
expenditure of $174,755 as shown below:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by the various
vendors shown above should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by the various vendors in the unit costs as shown above fora one
(1)year contract for the purchase of water treatment chemicals for use by the Public Works
Department, Water Utilities Division be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 29th day of June,
2004.
