BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
WHEREAS, on May 6, 2003, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
passed Resolution No. 03-096 awarding a contract in the amount of$2,256,555.75 to Allco,
Inc. for the Sanitary Sewer System Rehabilitation of Small Diameter Mains Contract VIII
Project; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for extra work to furnish and install
1031 linear feet of 10-inch sanitary sewer pipe, 1195 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer
pipe, 59 service line connections and 12 manholes increasing the contract amount by
$123,579 for a total amount of$2,380,134,75.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No. 1
in the amount of$123,579 increasing the contract amount to $2,380,134.75.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 22nd day of
June, 2004.
