BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
WHEREAS, on February 4, 2003, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
passed Resolution No. 03-035 awarding a contract in the amount of$1,929,668.65 to Allco,
Inc. for the Sanitary Sewer System Improvements East Lucas Interceptor Rehabilitation
Project; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for extra work to furnish and install 749
linear feet of 10-inch sanitary sewer pipe, 2579 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer pipe,
11 long side service line connections, 15 short side service line connections, and 12
manholes increasing the contract amount by$205,515 for a total amount of$2,135,183.65.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No. 1
in the amount of$205,515 increasing the contract amount to $2,135,183.65.
