WHEREAS, Sonic Restaurants, Inc. has conveyed a ten (10) foot x ten (10) foot
sanitary sewer easement for a manhole at Dowlen Road and Delaware Street to serve the
new Sonic Drive-In Restaurant to the City of Beaumont out of their property, being a 100
square foot tract out of City Plat D-26, Hezekiah Williams League, Abstract 56 and located
near the intersection of Dowlen Road and Delaware Street, Jefferson County, Texas, as
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS,the City Council has considered the conveyance of said easement and
is of the opinion that the delivery and receipt of said easement of property is necessary and
desirable and that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the easement to said tract of land tendered by Sonic Drive-In Restaurant as
described in Exhibit "A" be and the same is hereby in all things accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 22nd day of
June, 2004.
