WHEREAS, bids were received for installing new carpet and vinyl floor the located
in the Police Building at 255 College; and,
WHEREAS, Porter's Carpet, Inc., Beaumont,Texas, submitted a bid in the amount
of$37,627.95 and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Porter's Carpet,
Inc., Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the amount of$37,627.95 submitted by Porter's Carpet, Inc., Beaumont,
Texas, for installing new carpet and vinyl floor tile located in the Police Building at 255
College be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 8th day of June,
2004.
