WHEREAS, bids were received for an asbestos abatement contract to furnish all
labor, materials, equipment and supplies for the removal and disposal of all asbestos-
containing mastic and floor tile located in the Police Building at 255 College; and,
WHEREAS, UAS Automation Systems, Orlando, Florida, submitted a bid in the
amount of$49,950 and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by UAS
Automation Systems, Orlando, Florida, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid in the amount of$49,950 submitted by UAS Automation Systems, Orlando,
Florida, for an asbestos abatement contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and
supplies for the removal and disposal of all asbestos-containing mastic and floor the
located in the Police Building at 255 College be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 8th day of June,
2004.
