WHEREAS, Starship Dowlen, L. P. has conveyed two (2)ten (10) foot wide water
line easements, as shown below and described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for the
purpose of providing access for fire prevention services:
1. being a ten foot (10) easement, for a distance of 299.83' out of the Charles
Williams Survey, Abstract 59, at the intersection of Byron Street and the Texas
New Orleans Railroad right-of-way, Jefferson County, Texas, and,
2. being a ten foot (10) easement, for a distance of 40.26' out of the Charles
Williams Survey, Abstract 59, adjacent to an existing easement at 375 Byron,
conveyed to the City in 2003 as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS,the City Council has considered the conveyance of said easements and
is of the opinion that the delivery and receipt of said easements of property is necessary
and desirable and that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the easements to said tract of land tendered by Starship Dowlen, L. P. be and the
same is hereby in all things accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 4th day of May,
2004.
