WHEREAS, bids were received for a one (1) year contract for fire, extended
coverage flood and quake property insurance; and,
WHEREAS, McGriff, Seibels and Williams of Texas, Inc. submitted a bid in the
amount of$268,713; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by McGriff, Seibels
and Williams of Texas, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by McGriff, Seibels and Williams of Texas, Inc. in the amount of
$268,713 for a one (1) year contract for fire, extended coverage flood and quake property
insurance be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 27th day of April,
2004.
