WHEREAS, bids were received for a contract for the 2003 Street Rehabilitation
Project; and,
WHEREAS, L. D. Construction, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount
of$1,758,869.80; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by L. D.
Construction, Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by L. D. Construction, Beaumont, Texas, for a contract for the
2003 Street Rehabilitation Project in the amount of$1,758,869.80 be accepted by the City
of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 6th day of April,
2004.
