WHEREAS, bids were received for a six-(6) month contract for the purchase of
asphaltic concrete for use by the Public Works Department, Streets and Drainage Division;
and,
WHEREAS, APAC-Texas, Inc. submitted a bid in the fixed unit prices as shown:

Cold Laid Concrete Plant Pickup $34.00

ESTIMATED TOTAL $97,000
and,
WHEREAS,City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted byAPAC-Texas, Inc.
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by APAC-Texas, Inc. for a six-(6) month contract for the purchase
of asphaltic concrete for use by the Public Works Department, Streets and Drainage
Division be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 23rd day of
March, 2004.
