WHEREAS, bids were received for a one-year contract for the purchase of waste
treatment polymer for use by the Public Works Department, Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, Stockhausen, Inc. submitted a bid at a unit cost of$0.72 per pound with
an estimated total contract expenditure of$36,000; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion thatthe bid submitted by Stockhausen, Inc.
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Stockhausen, Inc. for a one-(1) year contract for the purchase
of waste treatment polymerfor use by the Public Works Department,Water Utilities Division
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 23rd day of
March, 2004.
