WHEREAS, bids were received for construction of the Virginia Street Pavement
Improvement Project; and,
WHEREAS, W. B. Construction and Sons, Inc., submitted a bid in the amount of
$2,598,065.77; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by W. B.
Construction and Sons, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by W. B. Construction and Sons, Inc., for construction of the
Virginia Street Pavement Improvement Project in the amount of $2,598,065.77 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 16th day of
March, 2004.
