BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
WHEREAS, bids were received for a one (1) year contract for the purchase of
cement stabilized base for use by the Public Works Department, Streets and Drainage
Division; and,
WHEREAS, Few Ready Mix Concrete of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid at the
unit cost of$14.76 per ton; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Few Ready Mix
Concrete should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Few Ready Mix Concrete for a one (1) year contract for the
purchase of cement stabilized base for use by the Public Works Department, Streets and
Drainage Division at the unit cost of$14.76 per ton be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of
February, 2004.
