RESOLUTION NO. j
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore approved a one (1) month contract with
Carolyn Chaney to provide services as the City of Beaumont's Washington assistant; and,
WHEREAS, such contract was for the month of November 1995; and,
WHEREAS, the City desires to execute a twelve month contract effective November
1, 1995 through October 31, 1996;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Resolution adopting a one (1) month contract with Carolyn Chaney be and the
same is hereby repealed and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute
a one (1) year renewal contract with Carolyn Chaney at a yearly cost of$48,234.12, plus
reimbursable expenses.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1995.
