WHEREAS, Council authorization is requested for conveyance of .32 of an acre out
of Lot 4, Block A of the Amelia Heights Addition for the appraised value of $3,800.00 to
Jefferson County Drainage District#6 for additional right-of-way; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of said conveyance and
is of the opinion that the acceptance of said conveyance of property is necessary and
desirable and that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a deed of conveyance
of .32 of an acre out of Lot 4, Block A of the Amelia Heights Addition to Jefferson County
Drainage District #6 in the amount of $3,800.00 as described on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto for additional right-of-way.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 51,1 day of
1995.
