BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the purchase of an upgrade to the AS/400 Model
9406-310 for Management Information Systems (MIS) Division's AS/400 in the amount of
$182,529 from the IBM Corporation. This purchase is exempt from competitive bidding
because it is available from only one source. Funds for the purchase are available in the
Capital Reserve Fund.
