WHEREAS, on September 25, 1995 bids were received for an annual contract for
the purchase of sand cement to be used by the Public Works Department/Streets and
Drainage Division and the Water Department; and,
WHEREAS, Transit Mix Concrete and Materials Company submitted a bid as
follows:

1-1/2 sack sand cement, F.O.B. Plantsite $ 10.50/ton
2 sack sand cement, F.O.B. Plantsite $ 12.00/ton
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Transit Mix
Concrete and Materials Company should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Transit Mix Concrete and Materials Company for an annual
contract for the purchase of sand cement for the Public Works/Streets and Drainage
Division and the Water Department in the amounts stated above be accepted by the City
of Beaumont.
