WHEREAS, on September 25, 1995 bids were received for the demolition and
removal of a twelve (12) story structure and a separate ten (10) story parking garage
located at 800 Pearl Street; and,
WHEREAS, Demco Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of $186,000.00 for
explosives demolition of the structures; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Demco Inc.
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Demco Inc. for the demolition and removal of a twelve (12)
story structure and a separate ten (10) story parking garage located at 800 Pearl Street
in the amount of$186,000.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
