WHEREAS, the City has contracted with NationsBank as a depository for
investment purposes; and,
WHEREAS, NationsBank wishes to release the following security being held at the
Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, effective October 3, 1995:

U. S. Treasury Note, Due 2/15/98 $5,000.00
CUSIP #912827578, 7.250%
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT NationsBank be permitted to release the above security and a certified copy of this
resolution shall constitute the approval of such release as evidence of the authority of said
bank to make said release.
