WHEREAS, on July 18, 1995, City Council awarded a contract to Zerl's Welding &
Fabricating Co. for the structural repair of a 5,000,000 Gallon Steel Ground Storage
Reservoir at Loeb in the amount of$54,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 and Final is being requested to adjust the contract
amount for repairs to shell a man way support davit which was not included in the original
contract in the amount of$200.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1
and Final, as stated above, with Zerl's Welding & Fabricating Co. in the amount of
$200.00. The project as stated above be and the same is herein accepted and the City
Manager be and he is hereby authorized to make final payment in the amount of
$10,025.00.
