RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont had an opportunity to purchase at auction from
the Jefferson County Sheriffs Office Tract 12 out of City Plat F, David Brown Survey the
same being 730 Jackson Street for use in the Charlton Pollard Neighborhood
Revitalization Projection; and,
WHEREAS, the City was able to purchase the property for $1,037.40; and,
WHEREAS, this property when added to property which will become available after
the abandonment of Pledger Street will provide an adequate building site for the Charlton
Pollard Neighborhood Revitalization Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the above described property be and the same is hereby ratified
and the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the deed to such property.
