WHEREAS, on August 21, 1995 bids were received for an annual contract to
provide asphaltic concrete to be used by the Public Works Department/Streets and
Drainage Division for street repairs; and,
WHEREAS, APAC-Texas, Inc. submitted a bid as follows:
Asphaltic Concrete Patch Mix, FOB Vendor's Plant $ 33.50/ton
Hot Mix/Hot Laid Asphaltic Concrete, FOB Vendor's Plant $ 23.50/ton
Hot Mix/Hot Laid Asphaltic Concrete, FOB Jobsite, $ 26.00/ton
ZONES 1 THROUGH 4
Hot Mix/Hot Laid Asphaltic Concrete, FOB Vendor's Plant $ 25.74/ton
Hot Mix/Cold Laid Asphaltic Concrete, FOB Jobsite, $ 28.25/ton
ZONES 1 THROUGH 4
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by APAC-Texas,
Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by APAC-Texas, Inc. for an annual contract to provide asphaltic
concrete in the amounts stated above be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
