WHEREAS, bids were received on July 31, 1995, for furnishing all labor, equipment,
materials and supervision for the removal and disposal of asbestos materials from the
vacant property located at 1105 Broadway; and,
WHEREAS, D &T Contracting, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$38,993; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by D & T
Contracting, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by D & T Contracting, Inc. for furnishing all labor, equipment,
materials and supervision for the removal and disposal of all asbestos containing materials
from the structure located at 1105 Broadway in the amount of $38,993 be accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 2?4 day of
1995.
