WHEREAS, on April 4, 1995, City Council authorized the City Manager to enter into
a contract with Diversified Coating, Ltd. for the repair and painting of a 5,000,000 Gallon
Ground Storage Steel Reservoir at Loeb in the amount of$52,200.00; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 and Final is being requested to increase the
Contract amount by$12,359.00 to adjust for repairs to roof rafters which were not included
in the original contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1,
as stated above, with Diversified Coating, Ltd. The project as stated above be and the
same is herein accepted and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to make
final payment in the amount of$8,110.00.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the ? .-day of
