WHEREAS, on August 14, 1995 bids were received for the purchase of four (4)
trucks equipped with recycling collection bodies to be used by the Solid Waste
Management Department; and,
WHEREAS, Olympic Truck Sales of Houston submitted a bid in the amount of
$82,106.14 each for four (4) Navistar International trucks equipped with recycling
collection bodies; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Olympic Truck
Sales should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Olympic Truck Sales for the purchase of four (4) Navistar
International trucks equipped with recycling collection bodies in the amount of$82,106.14
each be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
