WHEREAS, bids were received on July 24, 1995 for the West Lucas Widening
Project; and,
WHEREAS, Norman Highway Constructors, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$8,200,817.98; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Norman
Highway Constructors, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Norman Highway Constructors, Inc. for the West Lucas
Widening Project in the amount of $8,200,817.98 be accepted by the City of Beaumont
and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Norman
Highway Constructors, Inc. for such project.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1995.
