WHEREAS, bids were received June 5, 1995 for an annual contract for providing
unleaded gasoline, both low and mid range octane, and diesel fuel; and,
WHEREAS, Sun Coast Resources, Inc. submitted a bid for transport deliveries of
unleaded gasoline at $-.0077 per gallon and diesel fuel at $-.0063 per gallon below the
weekly average price published for the area in O.P.I.S.; and for tankwagon deliveries at
$+.0479 above the O.P.I.S. for all types of fuel; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Sun Coast
Resources, Inc. is the best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Sun Coast Resources, Inc. for an annual contract for providing
gasoline, both low and mid range octane, and diesel fuel in the above stated amounts be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the A-1' day of
1995.
