BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the
Beaumont Junior Forum to produce the Babe Zaharias Female Amateur Athlete Award
Ceremonies during the calendar years 1995 and 1996. The agreement is substantially in
the form attached hereto as Exhibit "A".

4. To pay all related expenses necessary to produce the Award as generated
by the Forum and the City from proceeds to be received from the City upon
proper documentation.
5. To provide a full accounting of all expenses and revenues associated with
the producing of the Award ceremonies.
6. To invite an appointed representative of the City or the Bureau to be present
during any and all planning sessions, meetings, etc.
The Forum shall retain for purposes unspecified all income generated from the
Award ceremonies.
The term of this Agreement shall be from the date of its execution until December
31, 1996. It is understood and agreed that either party to this Agreement may terminate
this Agreement, with just cause, by delivery to the other party notice in writing of said
termination thirty (30) days in advance. Said notice shall be delivered by registered mail.
All legitimate expenses, not associated with the reason for termination, incurred up to the
date of termination shall be paid in accordance with the procedure for paying other related
expenses provided for herein.
It is the intention of the City by executing this Agreement to not actively pursue the
engagement of any other producers of the Award ceremonies during the term of this
Agreement. In the event it becomes necessary to pursue another producer the Forum will
be notified in writing of the City's intentions.
This Agreement supersedes any Agreement previously executed by the parties for
the term above specified.
