WHEREAS, bids were received on July 10, 1995 for the sale of structure and
remnant property located at 673 West Lucas Drive and for the sale and removal of
property located at 647 West Lucas Drive in order to clear the rights-of-way for the
construction of the West Lucas Project; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted:
BIDDER 647 WEST LUCAS 673 WEST LUCAS
Sherman and Sherman, Inc. $ 571.00 $ 6,276.00
Brian and Cathie Ellis $ 1,258.00 ------
BNN Inc. ------ $ 9,151.00
J. D. Koch III ------ $ 12,288.00
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Brian and Cathie
Ellis for property located at 647 West Lucas should be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by J. D. Koch III for
property located at 673 West Lucas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a bill of sale for
property located at 647 West Lucas to Brian and Cathie Ellis in the amount of $1,258.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to
execute a deed for conveyance of property located at 673 West Lucas Drive to J. D. Koch
III in the amount of$12,288.00.
