WHEREAS, the City has contracted with NationsBank as a depository for
investment purposes; and,
WHEREAS, NationsBank wishes to release the following security being held at
Federal Reserve Bank, Dallas, effective July 11, 1995:

9128271-91 U. S. Treasury Note, 3.875% $5,000.00
Due 08/31/1995
WHEREAS, NationsBank wishes to pledge the following security as replacement
being held at Federal Reserve Bank, Dallas, effective July 11, 1995:
RECEIPT NO. DESCRIPTION PAR VALUE
912827578 U. S. Treasury Note, 7.250% $5,000.00
Due 02/15/1998
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT NationsBank be permitted to release and pledge the above-described securities and
a certified copy of this resolution shall constitute the approval of such release and pledge
as evidence of the authority of said bank to make said release and pledge.
