WHEREAS, on October 21, 1994, City Council authorized the City Manager to enter
into a contract with B.G.I. Enterprise, Inc. for new distributor arms for the primary trickling
filter north, at the Sewage Treatment Plant in the amount of $43,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 and Final is being requested to increase the
Contract amount by $10,433.52 to adjust for manufacturing spreaders, orifice plates,
gaskets and fasteners which were not included in the original contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1,
as stated above, with B.G.I. Enterprise, Inc. The project as stated above be and the same
is herein accepted and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to make final
payment in the amount of$14,733.52.
