WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of approximately two hundred
(200) tons of caustic soda for the Water Production Plant; and,
WHEREAS, DXI Industries, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$311.65 per ton;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by DXI Industries,
Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by DXI Industries, Inc. for the purchase of approximately two
hundred (200) tons of caustic soda for the Water Production Plant in the amount of
$311.65 per ton be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
