WHEREAS, sealed bids were received for furnishing labor, equipment, and
materials to install an underground irrigation system at the ball fields at the Municipal
Athletic Complex; and,
WHEREAS, Automatic Lawn Systems submitted a bid in the amount of $87,925;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Automatic Lawn
Systems should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Automatic Lawn Systems for furnishing labor, equipment, and
materials to install an underground irrigation system at the ball fields at the Municipal
Athletic Complex in the amount of$87,925 be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the
City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract for such work.
